- Call to Order
Secretary Ken Behrens noted that a quorum of 10 members was present, 4 of which were elected officers. President Emit Hurdelbrink called to order the meeting of the Radops of El Jebel at 1900 hours April 22nd, 2024, with all officers present. Red Fez Reporter Michael Marcus and Mike Schwartz were excused. Chuck Noah gave the invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Emit welcomed visitors Linda Fishel and Tom Leahy. Emit presented Tom the Radops Challenge Coin and Bolo Tie as an incentive to join our unit.

- Approval of Minutes from last meeting
- Paul Harrison moved and Dennis Proctor seconded that the March 25th, 2024 minutes be approved as published. Motion carried unanimously.
- Treasurer’s Report
- The Treasurer’s report is on file with the secretary.
- Rich Wall moved and Sam Wittner seconded that the Treasurer’s report be accepted. Motion carried unanimously.
- Committee Reports
- Parades:
- The next scheduled parade is the Commerce City Memorial Day callout on 30 May. Watch for a Mail Chimp email for details.
- Net Control:
- Paul Harrison said that all is going fine.
- Repeater:
- Emit Hurdelbrink reported that the illegal use of the repeater has stopped.
- Emit said that a trip to the site to soften the code transmission and to check the antenna will be scheduled shortly.
- Social:
- It was suggested that we have a June or July social. Paul Harrison said that he will enlist the aid of Michael Marcus to set up the social.

- Good of the Order
- Secretary Ken Behrens reminded everyone that there will be no face-to-face meeting in May because Memorial Day falls on the 4th Monday of the month.
- Doc Powell says hello from Ireland and he misses us.
- The Kentucky Derby Day will be held on 4 May.
- The 13 May Shrine meeting will be a puzzle night.
- Flags will be placed at Ft. Logan on 26 May and volunteers are needed.
- Divan Representative
- The Divan report was given by Dennis Proctor, PP.
- He added the following to the events mentioned in the Good of the Order.
- The car show will be on 2 June at El Jebel.
- Food and drinks donations are always appreciated.
