1. Call to Order
   Secretary Ken Behrens noted that a quorum of 10 members was present, 4 of which were elected officers. President Sam Wittner called to order the meeting of the Radops of El Jebel at 1900 hours March 27th, 2023, with all officers present. Emit Hurdelbrink, and Jim Schneider were excused. Jim Oliver gave the invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. President Sam Wittner welcomed visitor Lady Carol Monsebroten.
2. Illness and Distress
   1. Doug Turner is ill.
   2. Don Cox is ailing.
   3. Ron Williamson, PP had surgery.
3. Approval of Minutes from last meeting
   1. Michael Marcus moved and Ken Jones seconded that the February 27th, 2023 minutes be approved as published. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Treasurer’s Report
   1. The Treasurer’s report is on file with the secretary.
   2. Rich Wall reported that 1 dues payment had been deposited.
   3. He moved the funds from savings to checking to make the donation for the boiler replacement to the Shrine.
   4. Michael Marcus moved and Jim Oliver seconded that the Treasurer’s report be accepted. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Committee Reports
   1. Membership:
      1. Secretary Ken Behrens presented the Radops dues waiver letter to Ken Jones, Past Potentate.
      2. Ken thanked the Radops for the generous gift of waiving his dues.
   2. Parades:
      1. The next parade is on Memorial Day. Watch for a MailChimp notice for details.
   3. Uniform and Equipment:
      1. Sam Wittner gave information to the unit for the proposed bolo tie design and pricing that he received from the vendor.
      2. A discussion followed on the proposal and that a motion would be in order in New Business to proceed.
6. Unfinished Business
   1. None.
7. New Business
   1. Jim Oliver moved and Michael Marcus seconded that the Radops purchase 50 bolo ties for $500.00 and a $175.00 setup fee totaling $675.00 to the vendor and that 1 bolo tie be issued to each member with additional ties be available for purchase at $15.00 each. The Secretary is to keep a record of the issued and purchased ties. Motion carried unanimously.
8. Good of the Order
   1. Congratulations were extended to Divan Rep Hoss and Lady Kim for their 28th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, March 29th.
9. Divan Representative
   1. Hoss Monsebroten said that Nobles presented with their 50 pin would be treated to dinner along with their Ladies at the Shrine meeting. He asked that the office be informed of any Noble who would achieve the milestone this year.
   2. He reported on the upcoming parades.
   3. The Sportsman's raffle is being finalized and urged all to be involved in this money maker.
   4. Watch for MailChimp notices for updates to parades and Temple events

Jim Oliver showed a spark gap antique key and explained how it worked. He found the key at Dayton. This is the same key that was used on the HMS Titanic and that it was in the movie about the sinking of the Titanic.
