1. Call to Order
   Secretary Ken Behrens noted that a quorum of 8 members was present, 4 of which were elected officers. President Sam Wittner called to order the meeting of the Radops of El Jebel at 1900 hours January 23rd, 2023, with all officers present. Jim Oliver, Mike Schwartz, and Jim Stewart were excused. Emit Hurdelbrink gave the invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Installation
   1. Ken Jones, Past Potentate installed President Sam Wittner, Vice President Paul Harrison and Secretary Ken Behrens.
3. Illness and Distress
   1. Jim Stewart slipped on ice and is hurting.
   2. Jim Oliver slipped on the ice in the parking lot coming to the meeting tonight. He was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
   3. It was reported that Bob Aleksick became a silent key on August 21st, 2021.
4. Approval of Minutes from last meeting
   1. Paul Harrison moved and Emit Hurdelbrink seconded that the November 28th 2022 minutes be approved as published. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Treasurer’s Report
   1. The Treasurer’s report is on file with the secretary.
   2. Ken Jones moved and Emit Hurdelbrink seconded that the Treasurer’s report be accepted. Motion carried unanimously.
6. Committee Reports
   1. Parades:
      1. St. Patrick’s Day parade needs marshals to help the city parade officials to line up the participants.
   2. Repeater:
      1. Emit Hurdelbrink reported that the problem with a corrupted memory card was cleared by installing a backup. A small SSD was installed as well.
      2. He got the ID’er working to switch to code when the announcement is interrupted by voice traffic. It needs volume adjustment to be more in the background.
      3. He also wants to restore the time announcements
      4. He will work on getting remote programming up and running.
7. Communications
   1. Secretary Ken Behrens read the thank you note from Ken and Marlene Jones for the Radops support during the year.
   2. He read regrets from Divan Representative Hoss Monsebroten for not being able to attend the meeting.
8. Unfinished Business
   1. None.
9. New Business
   1. Emit Hurdelbrink moved and Jim Schneider seconded that the Radops purchase two rungs in the Ladder of Smiles for Bob Aleksick and Rodger Peabody. Motion carried unanimously.
10. Good of the Order
    1. Rich Wall suggested that we should consider making a donation of $1000.00 to replace the boiler. The donation should be acted upon at the next meeting if we receive more information from the building committee.
11. Divan Representative pro tem Illustrious Sir Ken Jones, Past Potentate
    1. Rich Wall gave a report on the Officers Meeting held on Saturday.
    2. All officers need to sign a conflict of interest document.
    3. Ken Jones recapped the calendar of events.
    4. He said that the Divan meeting were being kept at the same date and time as they were previously.

Sam Wittner adjourned the meeting at 1949 hours.
