1. Call to Order

Secretary Ken Behrens noted that a quorum of 7 members was present, 2 of which were elected officers. Vice President Paul Harrison called to order the meeting of the Radops of El Jebel at 1900 hours November 25^th, 2024, with all officers present except President Emit Hurdelbrink and Treasurer Rich Wall, who were excused. Also Mike Schwartz was excused. Jim Oliver gave the invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Illness and Distress

   1. Sam Wittner had cards for Jack Patton, PP and Rich Silver, PP for us to sign.

3. Approval of Minutes from last meeting

1. Michael Marcus moved and Chuck Noah seconded that the October 28^th, 2024 minutes be approved as published. Motion carried unanimously.

4. Treasurer’s Report

1. The Treasurer’s report is on file with the secretary.

2. The Treasurer’s report was given by Secretary Ken Behrens for Rich Wall, who was excused.

3. Sam Wittner moved and Michael Marcus seconded that the Treasurer’s report be accepted. Motion carried unanimously.

5. Committee Reports

   1. Bylaws:

      1. Secretary Ken Behrens said that he is still working on the bylaws and that they would be ready for approval after the 2025 officers are installed in January.

   2. Parades:

      1. The next parade will be the St. Patrick’s Day parade. Information will be sent via email.

   3. Social:

      1. Michael Marcus gave the results of the survey. The location chosen was the New York Deli News. The cost of the back room at the New York Deli News would be prohibitive, but we could be seated together in the dining room with separate checks.

6. Communications

   1. Secretary Ken Behrens reported that the annual membership report was completed and emailed to the Shrine office on 24 November 2024 which complies with the 30 November deadline.

   2. The 2025 room reservation for monthly meetings was submitted to the Shrine office on 25 November 2025 for approval by the Potentate.

7. Unfinished Business

   1. None.

   1. None.

9. Good of the Order

   1. None given.

10. Divan Representative

    1. Jim Oliver said that nothing new has been added to the published report.

    2. He reminded us that the December Shrine meeting is election of 2025 officers.
