Monthly Meeting Minutes
January 26^th, 2026

 

1. Call to Order
   Secretary Ken Behrens noted that a quorum of 4 members was present, 3 of which were elected officers. President Paul Harrison called to order the meeting of the Radops of El Jebel at 1900 hours January 26th, 2026, with all officers except Vice President Michael Marcus present. Michael Marcus and Mike Schwartz were excused. Rich Wall gave the invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Installation of Officers
   1. Paul Harrison, Rich Wall, and Ken Behrens were installed by Divan Representative Sam Wittner.
   2. Michael Marcus, who was excused, will be installed at the February 23rd meeting.
3. Illness and Distress
   1. Emit Hurdelbrink is doing well.
   2. Rich Wall said that he is cancer free.
4. Approval of Minutes from last meeting
   1. Sam Wittner moved and Rich Wall seconded that the November 24th, 2025 meeting minutes be approved as published. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Treasurer’s Report
   1. The Treasurer’s report is on file with the secretary.
   2. Ken Behrens moved and Sam Wittner seconded that the Treasurer’s report be accepted. Motion carried unanimously.
6. Committee Reports
   1. Parades:
      1. St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the first parade on the calendar.
7. Communications
   1. Secretary Ken Behrens received a text from Illustrious Past Potentate Ken Jones saying that it is good to hear the Nobles on the net and that he would like to attend the face-to-face meetings as well.
   2. Ken Behrens will explore whether we can set up Zoom meetings again. Rich Wall said he would bring his camera when we have access to Zoom.

   1. None.

   1. None.
10. Good of the Order
    1. Nothing was reported.
11. Divan Representative
    1. No report was given. Sam Wittner said he would send out the divan report after the next meeting.

Adjournment
        Paul Harrison adjourned the meeting at 1925 hours.
