This database allows you to view information about the Colorado AFTAC Alumni Association.
Database Version 2.2
Adds restriction to view current newsletters only if the member's dues are current, on active duty, or has a courtesy status.
Current newsletters are made available in all views that display them if the above criteria are met.
A correctly formated email address must be entered.
Adds validations to ensure required fields are filled in properly.
Documents must be marked "Public" or "Private", a Subject, Category, and Document Date are required.
Database Version 2.1
Adds tabs at the top of the pages for the Alumni Database, Document Library, and Links to external web pages.
The AFTAC Alumni Database tab is not visible unless the user has logged in.

This is a complete rewrite of the Document database in xPages.
What does this database do?
A Document Library application is an electronic filing cabinet that stores reference documents for access by a workgroup. The database contains the public documents used by Alumni members.
Who will use this database?
Anyone who wishes to view available documents may use this database.
Important Features
Web or Notes client:
Database can be accessed from either a Web browser or a Notes Client.
Full Text Searching:
Database can be searched by entering the search criteria in the
"Search"
field.
Categories:
Documents are assigned to categories to aid in finding them easily. They may appear in multiple places because they belong to different categories
Attachments:
Documents may contain downloadable attachments. These attachments may be, but not limited to, Adobe Acrobat PDF files, graphic images (pictures), or installable software.
Documents can be marked private or public:
Private documents are not visible to users with reader privileges.
Documents can be moved to Trash:
Soft deletes are used to allow restore of records deleted in error. The records remain in the Trash folder until they manually deleted.
Database Encryption:
Strong encryption is used for all local copies of the database.
Supported Browsers:
Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Edge and Internet Explorer. Firefox is the preferred browser.

is a rapid web and mobile application development platform. It allows HCL Notes data to be displayed to browser clients on all platforms. The programming model is based on standards and common web development skills like JavaScript, Ajax, the Dojo Toolkit, Server-side JavaScript, JavaServer Faces and it leverages HCL Domino functionality contained in typical HCL Notes databases. XPages applications are hosted by HCL Domino, HCL's Rapid application development platform, which has sold more than 145 million licenses.

Access level is
Reader
for all users of this database . This will prevent unauthorized modification of the design components within the database. Anonymous access is allowed for web users. Administrative tasks are available only to authorized users.
